How to clean the aluminum pan

Aluminum dishes are in demand. It is light, heats up quickly, is inexpensive. But over time, the metal fades, becomes covered with a layer of fat and soot.

To extend the life of an aluminum pan, you need to properly care for it. But if the utensils are already covered with a layer of soot, it must be removed.

Features of the use of aluminum cookware

Ware from aluminum is prone to deformation, scratching. Therefore, it requires proper operation and special care.

When using kitchen utensils made of aluminum, it is necessary to consider some features:

  1. The metal is able to react with acids. Therefore the food left in ware quickly deteriorates.
  2. Aluminum cooking utensils are often used for boiling jam or compote. Organic acids in fruits and vegetables have a negative effect on the coating of kitchen utensils.
  3. To reduce the negative effects of acids, before proceeding with cooking, boil the solution of water and salt mixed in one-to-one ratio in a container.
  4. Aluminum products do not have a protective non-stick coating. Therefore, prepared dishes can burn to the inner walls of dishes. In addition, the outer part of the kitchen utensils darkens from constant contact with the burners.

It is impossible to remove carbon deposits using a mechanical impact - scratches are immediately formed from aluminum on the surface of kitchen utensils. To do this, use other cleaning methods.
