The case for a home-made column can be made of different materials, for example, such as plastic, cardboard, metal, wood. It is recommended to make the body made of wood, as the material is available in any hardware store, it is quite sturdy, and can be easily processed manually.

Just get wood plywood with an approximate thickness of two to three millimeters. Also, to create a case you will need a pencil, nails or hot glue. Still need a regular or electric jigsaw, sandpaper.

How to make a case for a portable speaker with your own hands

In order to make this product, it is important to first meet the safety conditions. Wear safety glasses, protective gloves, prepare the workplace and materials for the implementation of a home-made product.

1. The first step is to use a pencil to mark the main sides of your column on plywood. It is recommended that the walls of the product be small in size to save space and square in size for ease of execution. Also mark the grooves on the sides, thanks to which the walls will be fixed.
2. The next step is to cut these walls with a jigsaw, and then walk along their edges with an emery tape.
3. After performing these steps, you need to determine the front, back and side walls. On the front wall, mark the hole for the speaker, and on the back, mark the holes for the connectors. Cut holes and sand them with sandpaper.
4. Next, using an adhesive gun, connect all sides of the column except the top.
5. After that, connect the wires to the Bluetooth board. Places of soldering are marked in the instructions for the board. Thus solder the battery, connectors, amplifiers, start button and switches.
6. Attach the speaker to the opening of the front wall, and the connectors, switches and start button to the rear wall. Fix everything with hot glue so that nothing hangs.
7. Fasten the top cover and charge your homemade device with the connector and charging. If you wish, you can paint the column in any color.
