It is compared with silk due to visual and tactile similarity (even experts can sometimes not distinguish especially high-quality variations from silk), while its cost is several times lower. Currently, such products are one of the most affordable for consumers.

The paint is perfectly absorbed and fixed in viscose, so the range of colors is unusually rich and among them you can find an option that fits perfectly into any interior style, from classic to modern.

Such carpets are hypoallergenic, resistant to wear, do not accumulate static electricity and have a small mass, they are easy to transport and place on any surface.

Like any product, such coatings have their own negative features. These include:

instability to moisture, so if water gets on them, it is urgent to get it wet with a paper or rag;
the previous property is associated with the fact that such carpets are extremely undesirable to lay in the kitchen, in the bathroom and toilet, since the risks are significantly increased to quickly render the product unusable;
care requires special products designed for this material, or expensive dry cleaning. As a rule, simply vacuuming is not enough;
fire hazard, which is associated with the requirement not to lay the coating near fireplaces, heaters or other heating devices;
difficulties with stain removal and the associated impracticality when placed in homes with animals and small children;
slippery base, requiring additional fixing on the floor, for example, special linings;

Do not forget how the product will look in your interior. Do not rush to get the first picture you like, imagine how it will be combined with the general color scheme of the room and its design;
pay attention to size, especially if you plan to cover a large area of the room. If necessary, pre-measure;
also note the length of the pile for yourself, since the complexity of care depends on this: the longer, the higher it is. In addition, over time, a long pile can wrinkle and settle, so if you are unable to provide constant coverage, choose short-haired models.
