"Continuum" automatically optimizes a mobile PC with touch dialing, makes the menu simpler and switches the OS interface to full screen, reduces the settings settings icons. The option is quite simple and intuitive, this contributes to the popularity of its use on different mobile PCs.

How to turn off: ways

You can switch to Continuum mode using the Notification Center. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in through the Taskbar to the Notification Center.
  2. In the tab that appears, click "Continuum", after which the message "Enabled" will appear.
  3. The function is activated automatically and immediately makes all changes.

To exit the tablet function and switch to the usual way of working, you must repeat the above steps again, and turn off "Continuum". In the "Notification Center" tab, when you select the "Tablet Mode" menu, the message "Off." The OS independently activates the normal Windows interface.

Why can’t I turn off the tablet mode on the laptop

In some cases, the "Continuum" item is not displayed in the "Notification Center" and you cannot turn off this tablet option on the laptop. In this case, the following steps must be performed.

Go to the "Start". In the tab that appears, select the gear-shaped icon that appears above the "Turn off your computer" button and go to "Settings".

You can also enter the Options menu using other methods:

  1. Use the combination of "Windows + X" buttons or right-click on the "Start" icon and in the pop-up window find the "Options" menu.
  2. You can simultaneously press the combination of "Windows + I" buttons and directly open the "Settings" tab.

After in the list of actions that appears, find the item "System". In the new menu, specify on the left side of the proposed tabs the item "Notifications and Actions".

In the right part opposite the line "Quick Actions" click on the item "Add / Remove Quick Actions" to configure the menu of the displayed tiles.

A list of all possible parameters appears. Using the scroll bar, lower the slider to the lowest position and select "Continuum" from the proposed list of modes, enable it by setting the status in the corresponding "On" cell.

Reference! Continuum mode appears in the Quick Actions tab next to other active functions. You can click and hold this icon, moving it to a more convenient place in the quick actions tab.
