How to turn off wireless headphones

Science and technology do not stand still. More recently, it was wild to look at a person who was talking through a wireless headset, without holding the phone to his ear. Not so long ago, wireless headphones appeared. As always, Apple was the trendsetter. The absence of a wire is very convenient and practical. The user can get rid of the eternal problem that the wires are confused. At the same time, the eternal misfortune is solved with a lack of wire length.

How to disable wireless headphones

Bluetooth headphones are a very tiny device, as a rule, they have no more than three control buttons. Functionality they can be combined. The choice of the desired function depends on the selected combination of pressing, as well as on the duration. The shutdown button is not available on every model. To turn off the device, you must press the power button and hold it for several seconds. However, it is not always possible to turn off the headphones in a regular way. Often this is caused by one or another failure. In any case, the problem must be fought.

How to forcibly turn off wireless headphones

There are at least two situations where a forced disconnection of wireless headphones is required. In the first, when the headphones are turned off, the “Headphones” mode continues to work on the device. The second case is somewhat more complicated when the headphones themselves do not turn off.

Headphones mode. Standard functionality of Apple devices. This makes it possible to adjust the ringer volume while the user is listening to music. If headphones are connected, the volume automatically decreases to half. If you turn them off or remove them, another mode automatically turns on and the sound volume increases to one hundred percent. This is actually very convenient.

However, often automation fails and you need to think about how to turn off the headphone mode. If it turns on independently, as soon as a connection is detected, then it must independently exit this mode.

Initially, you need to understand why the device can behave in this way. If the headset mode remains on, the user will not be able to hear incoming calls. In fact, it turns out that the smartphone continues to direct sound to the disconnected headset, and there are no sounds on it. There can be many reasons. We list the main ones:

  • the device is dirty;
  • the connection connector is damaged;
  • system crash;
  • water gets on the smartphone;
  • the room has high humidity.

In order to accurately determine the cause of the malfunction, you have to go through them all. But often you can cope with the situation yourself.

There are several ways to turn off the Earphones mode. For starters, you can try rebooting the device. To do this, you need to connect the iPhone to charging and reboot it. If this method does not give results, then you need to repeat everything, just select Hard Reset. To select this mode, when the power is off, hold down the sound and power adjustment button, as soon as the logo appears, you need to release the buttons and click Had Reset in the menu that appears.

In a situation where the headset itself continues to work, although they are turned off in the smartphone and pressing the power button does not help, it is recommended to completely discharge the battery. As a rule, after that, everything starts to work fine. If this does not help, then it is better to consult a specialist.

Reset

Often, in order to eliminate malfunctions in the work with the headset, namely to turn them off, you need to reset the user settings to factory settings. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the smartphone and wait for the download.
  2. Go to the “Settings” menu, then go to “Basic” and “Reset”.
  3. In the window that appears, click the "Reset All Settings" button, and then "Erase iPhone".
  4. After that, you will need to confirm the operation. To do this, you will need to enter AppleID.

As soon as the code is entered, the device will reboot. Then you can re-enter the data and evaluate the result.
